The HIOKI CM4371-90 Clamp Multimeter is an essential tool for electricians, service engineers, and maintenance professionals who need precise current measurement across both small and large loads. Combining the CM4371-50 with the included Z3210 Bluetooth Adapter, it offers the same dual range flexibility together with wireless connectivity for everyday field work.
With dual current ranges of 20 A and 600 A AC/DC, this model offers unique flexibility within the series. Low-current measurements benefit from improved resolution and accuracy in the 20 A range, while the 600 A range handles larger loads with ease. Its clamp accommodates conductors up to 33 mm in diameter, covering a wide range of work in distribution boards, wiring, and industrial equipment. Voltage measurement up to 1000 V AC/DC covers most applications, and when paired with the optional P2010 High Voltage Probe, the instrument can measure up to 2000 V DC in CAT III environments, enabling safe testing of photovoltaic strings and EV batteries. True RMS technology ensures accurate results even with distorted waveforms.
Beyond current and voltage, the HIOKI CM4371-90 also functions as a versatile multimeter: it measures resistance, capacitance, continuity, diode polarity check, and DC power. Temperature measurement is also available with a K thermocouple such as the optional DT4910 Thermocouple (K), allowing readings from -40 °C to 400 °C. It also supports non-contact voltage detection for a quick check for the presence of AC voltage. Automatic AC/DC detection and advanced display options such as Max/Min/Avg, PEAK values, filter function, manual/auto hold, and pass/fail judgement simplify daily tasks.
The included L9300 test leads feature a slide-type mechanism that allows the metal tips to be extended or retracted, eliminating removable caps. The display backlight makes readings easier in poorly lit environments. Its operating temperature range from -25 °C to 65 °C supports reliable use in cold outdoor conditions, unheated facilities, and high ambient temperatures.
Because the Z3210 Bluetooth Adapter is included, measured values can be transferred directly to a smartphone or tablet. In combination with the free GENNECT Cross app for Android and iOS, values can be stored, assigned to measurement locations, and documented directly on site. Reports can be created on the mobile device and exported for further processing. Live readings can also be viewed remotely when the instrument is installed in a position where the display is difficult to read.
The CM4371-90 complies with CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V. When used with the optional P2010 High Voltage Probe, it also complies with CAT III 2000 V. Its housing is robust and rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance.
