The TA173 is a 20 dB 10 GHz attenuator for use with 50 ohm systems. Fitted as standard to the TDR/TDT drive outputs of the PicoScope 9311, the attenuator is a safety measure to protect against voltage pulses from damaging the sensitive input of the PicoScope 9300 oscilloscope.
