The TA534 is a USB 3.2 cable featuring a Type-C to Type-A connector configuration, specifically designed for use with PicoScope 3000E Series oscilloscopes when a computer lacks a Type-C port but includes a Type-A port. Built with 20-AWG conductors, it ensures low resistance, helping to minimize voltage drops and reduce electrical noise that can result from poor grounding or inadequate shielding in lower-quality cables.
The Type-C end of the cable includes a retention screw for securely attaching it to the oscilloscope’s rear USB Type-C port. When using this cable, an external power supply—such as the PS017—may be required to ensure stable operation of the PicoScope 3000E.
