HIOKI CT6704 & CT6705 Current Probes

High-Current Measurement Solutions for Power Electronics Testing NEW HIOKI AC/DC Current Probes | Up to 500 A | Up to 30 MHz

The new HIOKI CT6704 and CT6705 AC/DC Current Probes are designed for high-current, high-frequency applications, including power electronics development, electric vehicle inverters, industrial motor drives, switching power supplies and renewable energy systems.

Combining HIOKI's fluxgate sensing technology with improved amplitude accuracy and minimal temperature-related offset drift, both probes help engineers capture fast current changes and observe waveforms reliably under different operating conditions.

With a standard BNC connection, the probes can be used with compatible oscilloscopes, Memory Recorders and data acquisition systems, allowing engineers to integrate high-current measurement into their existing test setup.

Key Features

  • Up to 500 A rated current – Measure high-current waveforms in power electronic circuits.
  • Up to 30 MHz bandwidth – Capture fast switching events and current transients.
  • Stable zero baseline – Minimise temperature-related offset drift during waveform observation.
  • ±0.5% amplitude accuracy – Improved accuracy compared with the previous probe generation.
  • Standard BNC connection – Integrate with compatible oscilloscopes and recording instruments.
