The Fluke 116 HVAC Digital Multimeter provides the features needed to troubleshoot HVAC equipment
The Fluke 116 was specifically designed for the HVAC professional. It has everything needed in an HVAC meter including temperature and microamp measurements to quickly troubleshoot problems with HVAC equipment and flame sensors. Use the Fluke 116 to test motor start and run capacitors up to 10,000 microfarads. Rely on the Fluke 116 to make your everyday measurements †up to 600 volts ac or dc, 40 MΩ, diode test and exceptionally fast continuity.
Perform A Wide Range Of HVAC/R Tests
Measure superheat and subcooling
Measure key temperatures and pressures. Use the Fluke 116 with a Fluke velcro pipeclamp (80PK-11) and a pressure module (PV350) to determine superheat and subcooling values.
Detect problems like a clogged filter drier, undercharge, overcharge, faulty metering device or improper airflow, liquid line restriction or insufficient water flow.
Troubleshoot the defrost control on a heat pump
Check the temperature of the air coil
Confirm when the defrost cycle starts and ends
Take temperature surveys
Test out compressor heads, oil sumps, evaporator coils and suction lines, plus discharge lines, condenser coils and the liquid line
Microamps measurement for testing flame sensors
When a furnace flame will not stay lit, use the Fluke 116 microamps measurement to troubleshoot the flame rod circuit.
LoZ - Low impedance input
Reduces chance of false readings due to ghost voltage with new low impedance design
Safer troubleshooting in high energy 3-phase distribution panel with IEC61010 ratings
Fluke 110 Series of Digital Multimeters
The Fluke 110 series of digital multimeters is designed for professionals who need reliable tools to quickly diagnose and resolve problems. These handheld, battery-powered devices feature true-RMS measurement for accurate readings, a 6000-count display, and a backlight that ensures visibility in poorly lit conditions. With the addition of a bar graph for dynamic readings, a CAT III 600 V safety rating, and an IP 42 rating for added durability, the Fluke 110 series combines functionality and robustness to meet the demands of challenging environments.
