In selective earth resistance measurement, which HIOKI refers to as Measuring Earth with a Clamp (MEC), it senses the measurement current of a specific earth electrode in a connected multiple-earthed system without disconnecting that electrode for the test. In two-clamp earth resistance measurement, it senses the resulting current in a stakeless method in which the FT9847 injects the test signal into the grounding conductor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe CT9848 accommodates conductors up to 52 mm in diameter and busbars up to 78 mm × 20 mm. It is equipped with a 2 m cable terminated with a dedicated connector for the FT6041. The clamp is rated CAT IV 300 V and CAT III 600 V.
