Printer Unit for MR8848, factory-installed option
Printer Unit for MR8848, factory-installed option, 200 mm printing width
The U8351 Printer Unit is a factory-installed option for the MR8848 Memory Recorder. It enables printing of waveform data and measurement results directly at the test site, allowing immediate documentation without transferring data to a PC or external storage device. The tamper-proof printout provides a permanent hard copy for applications requiring verifiable records, for example in regulatory documentation, customer acceptance reports, or service protocols.
In industries such as energy supply, aviation, and defense, digital media may be restricted or not permitted. In these environments, paper documentation remains the standard or is formally required. The printer provides immediate proof of measurement results directly on site, supporting inspections, service operations, and acceptance procedures.
The unit is integrated during manufacturing and cannot be retrofitted.
The U8351 uses 9231 Recording Paper, which is supplied with the unit along with a roll paper attachment when the printer is installed. Additional recording paper can also be ordered separately as needed.
