Leadsets facilitate the easy connection to target system signals through the use of single-pin podlet connections for both signals and grounds. This design allows for the independent connection of ground and signal, enabling adaptable access to PCB and backplane connections, especially in areas where signals are not easily accessible together. The model 196-3470-01 is an 8-channel leadset designed for single-ended connections. It is compatible with individual connections to backplanes and dense, single-ended configurations within a pin array measuring either 2 mm (0.079 inches) or 2.54 mm (0.1 inches). This leadset features two shared ground connections for all incoming signals. Additionally, each positive lead is equipped with a 150 ohm damping resistor, and the leadset's housing includes a 150 ohm damping resistor for the ground path in every channel.
