Electrostatic discharges (ESD) can cause damage to sensitive electronics or controls. These discharges can occur between a human body and any other part or between two different objects. The voltage generated can be several thousand volts. Dito is an advanced ESD tester that can simulate ESD pulses according to EN/IEC 61000-4-2 and other standards. It has a 16kV air discharge and a 10kV contact discharge with a resolution of 100V steps. It also has a discharge module at 150pF/330ohm with a built-in contact discharge relay.
