EMA 1710 is an easy-to-mount LCD digital panel meter. To install the meter, the user need only drill a single 7/32” (5.5mm) hole in the panel. The module is fitted to the panel by locating its threaded stud through the hole, fitting the washer and tightening the nut provided. The module's connecting wires pass through the hollow stud into the target application for connection. The meter features a nine-segment analogue style LCD to display a 0 to 1V d.c. full scale reading. Other voltages and currents can be measured via the addition of 2 scaling resistors. The meter can be used in applications where the order of magnitude of the reading is more important than the value of the reading itself. It allows the operator to scan the display and receive quick visual feedback. A rubber seal is included, providing splash proof protection for the unit when fitted to the meter during installation.
