Lightwave Multimeter / Power Meter - Mainframe The HP (now Keysight) 8153A lightwave (optical) multimeter mainframe offers two slots for plug-in modules. Since modules can be combined in any configuration, the instrument can be used a 1/2 channel power meter, a 1/2 channel light source, a loss test set, or even as a return loss test set. The 8153A is a flexible, multi-purpose tool, which will measure all basic fiber optic parameters. With its plug-in sources, power sensors and return loss modules, it easily adapts to changing measurement requirements.
