The measurements of the single pulses are carried out with a special 2 ohm shunt. To properly verify the ESD pulses, an oscilloscope is required with a minimum bandwidth of
- 2 GHz according to IEC 61000-4-2 and
- 1 GHz according to ISO 10605

The ESD Verification Set SESD 8800-4 is rated up to 4 GHz and thus meets the requirements of twice the bandwidth in terms of the measurement bandwidth.
