The interference signals of the CWG 1500 / CWG 2500 surge generator are superimposed on the connecting lines of the instrument under test. The coupling switch can be used to switch the interference paths on and off. By means of the coupling network of type CWG 1525, EMC tests (immunity tests) can be carried out on electrical consumers. These tests are based on IEC 61000-4-5 (surge test for unscreened, balanced connection lines).
The CWG 1525 is suitable for operation with the CWG 2500 / 1500 surge generators from Schlöder.
