By utilizing network discovery and path analysis for layers 2 and 3, the LinkRunner AT 4000 provides extensive network visibility to help address issues affecting multiple devices, not just a single link. It continues to offer the automated tests for validating moves, adds, and changes, and troubleshooting that the LinkRunner AT series of testing solutions is renowned for.

Test results can be automatically uploaded to the Link-Live platform for collaboration, reporting, and analysis. This enhances cooperation between network engineers and technicians, leading to increased job visibility, improved project management, and better management of the tester fleet. An independent management plane, accessible via a wired or Wi-Fi connection (with optional adapters), allows for remote operation and result uploading separate from the network being tested.
